Sunday School
Thank you, Bev, for helping out in our children’s ministry and serving delicious breakfasts to our children and others that are hungry! On certain Sundays, after Sunday School, they visit the Good News (!) store and spend their hard-earned Good News $’s! Kathy teaches our children. Sue Bollaert is our back-up teacher. If you have a child that is interested in attending, please let Pastor, Kathy or Bev know. After class, the children are fed in the Fellowship Hall! Word is out that children of all sizes love Bev’s eggs and sausage.
Children's Ministry
The Children’s Ministry had a fun Soup and Bread Fundraiser on Sunday, November 10th, in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you to everyone that participated in our Fundraiser! Thank you for all of the wonderful food, fun, and fellowship! We are all winners in God’s eyes! We raised $244.

Children's Moment
She was right after all
Small children were putting on a Christmas
program. The entertainment proceeded without a
hitch until near the end of the event. Each child held
a large card with a letter printed on it. The letters
were turned away from the audience. One by one
each child turned the card he or she was holding to
reveal a letter. First was the child with the “C,” then
the one with the “H,” and so on down the line. When
it was time for a little girl to hold up the “M,” it was
upside down. The “M” appeared to be a “W.”
Quiet giggles rippled through the audience.
Nevertheless, the kids continued one by one to
reveal the rest of the cards. When the last card was
shown, the cards were meant to spell out:
C H R I S T M A S L O V E
Instead, they spelled:
C H R I S T W A S L O V E
What first seemed to be a mistake wasn’t one after
all.

Operation Christmas Child
Shoe Box Ministry
In the hands of local churches, every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ! This was our biggest outpouring of love as we filled 27 shoeboxes for children in need. Pastor prayed over the shoeboxes during Worship Service.
Dusty and Peggy Tobin put the boxes together for us to fill and they took the shoeboxes to the Drop-Off Center. Thank you to everyone that helped make this ministry outreach a success!!!
Poinsettias
SIGN-UP SHEET FOR POINSETTIAS: If you would
like to provide a Poinsettia to decorate the sanctuary for
Christmas, in memory of your loved ones, or for some
other reason, the cost is $8.00. The sign-up sheet is in the
Narthex. Your order and money need to be in the Church
Office by December 8th
Help The Homeless
Mission
October-November Mission Project
“Heroes With Hearts For The Homeless”
Thank you to everyone that donated to this! Our receptacles were overflowing in the Narthex area!
Praise God!
American Baptist Mission
This is an American Baptist Mission Offering we receive in December. This offering goes to help give gifts of gratitude to retired ministers and missionaries. Our Goal is $400. Thank you for helping us meet or surpass our Goal.
Christmas Prayer
Loving Father, help us to remember the
birth of Jesus, that we may share in the
song of the angels, the gladness of the
shepherds, and the worship of the wise
men.
Close the door of hate and open the door of
love all over the world. Let kindness come
with every gift, and good desires with every
greeting. Deliver us from evil by the
blessing which Christ brings, and teach us
to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning make us happy
to be thy children, and the Christmas
evening bring us to our beds with grateful
thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’
sake. Amen!
